Our Story
Together as a family we are able to do more as we build off and teach each other our own personal talents. We utilize these strengths to make wonderful pieces for our extended community.
The Family Behind the Work
Greg
Greg started Willow Hill Craftworks five years ago with a Facebook ad and a set of Adirondack chairs. He lost his job, like many, during the pandemic and saw this as an opportunity to do something he was passionate about: woodworking. Both of his grandfathers were woodworkers and he grew up watching them. He enjoyed shop class and the thrill of taking raw materials and turning them into something durable and useful. The pieces he creates and the work he puts into them are built to last and with you, the customer, in mind.
Tracy
Tracy began helping Greg with the chairs in the summer, as she teaches elementary school full time during the school year. She gained some woodworking skills as well and brought in her artistic talents. She loves to design and create beautiful pieces from raw materials. Additionally, Tracy excels with technology and utilizing it for her designs. She handles the website and social media content as well.
Colin
And of course Colin, our son, master salesman and idea man. He is a current middle school student. He loves to help and engage with others. He likes to tell us what is popular and what we should design and make next. He is eager to learn and has an interest in computer design and building. We are so proud of him and how he has stepped up into helping us.
